Reviews for "Path to glory"

Good submission, but it could use some work

The game itself is fun, but as mentioned before, the stores are difficult to browse, losing your weapons/armor when you release a slave is no fun, and it'd be nice if there was a more thorough description of the different attack strengths/weaknesses.

Also, it doesn't seem that you can heal your fighter after battle, which is severely crippling. The +1 health you occasionally get from winning a match just doesn't cut it.

Good game over all. I look forward to a more polished future version.

Exciting

Kinda like a easy rpg type version on gladiator for the ps2 i thought it was awesome and encourage more submissions if this kind

Wonderful game

Sorta original, good graphics, good sounds.
I'd play again if I had the time.
Complex enough, yet simple

I liked that different weapons had different stat, and that you coudn't always just get the bigger numbers

I never understood how to hit strategically though.

Frustrating at first, but the fighting is fun

The shopping UI seems difficult someone who's trying to learn the game. Once you leave an area, you can't come back until the next day, which means you can't look around and see what's available before you decide how to spend your money. If you select an item in the weapons stall, the stats listed for all the items change to their values relative to the item you clicked on (even though you haven't bought it yet!), making it hard to compare them. There doesn't seem to be a way to unselect the item either - even selecting another item can leave the first item chosen.
On the other hand, the fighting system is very well done, and building up your gladiators is satisfying.
Good job!

good, but could use a little more improvement

good game, worthy of a sequal.

but a few things you could improve on like the controls, might be a little on the complicated side, but you overcame it with manager mode, but i would still like to fight myself.

another thing you could add is a sandbox mode for people like me who dont like working against the clock

maybe next time you could add an inventory so when you release a slave, you wouldnt lose his items

i have plenty of ideas, but perhaps thats enough for now
