Reviews for "The History of Animation"

Hmm..

I liked how informative it was. Being a fan of animation I enjoyed it. The humor was lame but I liked it still.

Flash 5 eh?

The loosing sync seems to occur for me as well, and I wonder if it's Flash 5 ( i saw you used it ).

Not bad. Dry in places, but not bad

great

very nice work... it makes me want to open flash and finish my project... *opens flash*

i learned something to today yay

yay i like it. now my brain hurts

informative but hard to sit through

the flash was, as most other people have mentioned, very informative. the info you gave was relevant and unknown to most people, which is always great to hear about.

however, the presentation was lacking. the overall structure was organized in a fairly straightforward chronological manner, but it seemed to skip around a little bit. what bothered me most however, was the sound. not only was the quality bad, but the narration was hard to sit through. it sounded like the narrator was trying to sound like he had a deep, "intelligent" sounding voice, and it became very uneven at parts. additionally, the interjections made by the cartoon character were simply annoying, seldomly funny. you can be entertaining and informative at the same time without having to throw simple humor in every 5 lines - information ITSELF can be interesting and humorous. especially when dealing with animation and cartoons. throw in more random facts about the people you're doing that might be funny rather than your cartoon guy going "BORING! what's NEXT??"

the art YOU made was decent and fit in well. although, imo, gradient backgrounds look kind of cheesy when used in excess.

Yes, all valid points, in future cartoons I'll be sure to write it in more than a day's time.
