Reviews for "March_To_Eternity [Box-Killa]"

Cool!

I like it a lot. As I listened, I totally thought this would go well if 'Mouse Guard' were an animation or something-- sounds like a good "Mice doing battle" theme. My favorite was at 2:18 and how it builds up.

The things I think drag this peice a bit is the piano and the snare drums-- it sounds way too synthetic. That and I feel there's 1 or 2 too many silent parts in the song.

So I enjoyed it very much. Hope this review helped out. Either way, great job!

Box-Killa responds:

hey there are no silent parts, only quiet parts. But that is a stupid statement, why are quiet parts bad? And you need something quiet to compare with the loud. :D

Pretty good stuff

I'm not a music pro by any means. And i usually stick to indie music because it's more of what i know. I find it hard to review music with programs I'm not familiar with because it seems unfair. I feel the same way about flash movies to. Unless it's utterly horrible or fantastic. Any rate, i think it was fine. I wasn't particularly excited about the 3 min mark when it goes into a drum solo. But like i said, i'm no pro, so take it with a grain of salt. Keep it up, does sound like you've got a knack for it.

Intense

The beginning of it is perfection! haha. I like how it starts off slow and builds up to it. However, I didn't really like how it interchanges throughout the whole song, low than dramatic, soft then loud. It feels odd and awkward after a while because you lose all the momentum and have to recreate it. Another thing I have a problem with is that every time you build the beat back up, it is basically the same with a slight change to it. That throws me off cuz your transitions make it seem like you are changin the song completely, not startin over wit the same beat. I also had problems wit the transitions, you need to work a lil on those. I did however think each part of it was great separately, but when you arranged em how you did you kinda lost some of the magic of the song. You just need to work on positions, transitions, and not losin your momentum. GREAT JOB other wise though =D =D=D!!!

A March to Greatness.

The parts where the music quieted down before switching to the next part of the track seemed really odd to me, and disrupted the flow I heard. Other than that, it's a solid track, and I like the way it leads back into itself at the end.

8/10

It was good. I think you had added bit to much with so many pauses. I liked the piano. I think if you spiced up the drums a bit it would sound better.
