Reviews for "March_To_Eternity [Box-Killa]"

Pretty good stuff

I'm not a music pro by any means. And i usually stick to indie music because it's more of what i know. I find it hard to review music with programs I'm not familiar with because it seems unfair. I feel the same way about flash movies to. Unless it's utterly horrible or fantastic. Any rate, i think it was fine. I wasn't particularly excited about the 3 min mark when it goes into a drum solo. But like i said, i'm no pro, so take it with a grain of salt. Keep it up, does sound like you've got a knack for it.

Cool!

I like it a lot. As I listened, I totally thought this would go well if 'Mouse Guard' were an animation or something-- sounds like a good "Mice doing battle" theme. My favorite was at 2:18 and how it builds up.

The things I think drag this peice a bit is the piano and the snare drums-- it sounds way too synthetic. That and I feel there's 1 or 2 too many silent parts in the song.

So I enjoyed it very much. Hope this review helped out. Either way, great job!

Box-Killa responds:

hey there are no silent parts, only quiet parts. But that is a stupid statement, why are quiet parts bad? And you need something quiet to compare with the loud. :D

Pretty Cool

I liked it. What program did you use and what VST's are used in here?

Box-Killa responds:

edirol/nexus

good

This is a good classical piece. It has a fast beat, then slows down. It really seems like an orchestra would honestly play a piece like this in a concert hall. The precussion is done really well.

Though I just have to follow up on what Knocturne said. This is not a medieval piece. It is more of a revolutionary march with a classical touch of composers like Beethoven and Bach.

Box-Killa responds:

:D Yeah just call it classical lol :D

It's pretty neat

It feels empty, the stops are nice, you seem to favor sharps and flats too.

I wouldn't really call it medieval, seems like a spooky children's film theme. Maybe utilizing more instruments would make this a bit more interesting.

Box-Killa responds:

thanks dude, there are some dynamics in there, but no minor details blek
