It was good. I think you had added bit to much with so many pauses. I liked the piano. I think if you spiced up the drums a bit it would sound better.

Cool

Nice... Like how you stopped it and then continued around the beginning. Real nice work man.

Evil vibes

I can see this being used as background music as some sort of evil tyrannical leader leads his troops towards battle :P

The only downfall I saw was the mid area when it got slow and quieter. This seemed to me more like 2 songs in one.

3:27 reminds me of Mario :D

Definitely...

... a march!
Some pretty interesting concepts in there...
Loved the piano solo in the end, that was pretty psycho.
The only thing that bugs me a little is the dynamics of the percussion and the piano..
The percussion has this typical "machine gun" sound..
Meh... so much for my attempt to review a classical song...

Transitioning: Nice, when you stop at around 00:47 you get too quiet for too long. Then again at 1:45, too long for pausing and quietness. However, at 3:05, that one is great because of the drums. Every other transition of music is good.

Patterns: Until the end the piano and other instruments kept following the same pattern of playing with little variation to them. The drums especially. But the variation in it (like the intro and outro) was awesome.

Vocals: None.

Theme/ Feel: This is were it was inconsistent, I get a feeling of a climax or battle through most of it, but then a feeling of sadness near the transitions and maybe from a deeper perspective a sense of dread. Without vocals the theme is a bit harder to establish. I think the drums sort of gave it the theme though, but I'm not sure what it is.

Specifics: I feel the drums and another instrument should have opened instead of the piano, but that's just me. Good job over all.
