The drums are good, but the melody sounds really cheesey. It's not really the kind of thing I would listen too. It's made better by the song you remixed though.

Very nice build up and take off.
It feels like good ambiance for a game.
As for a stand alone, it could use that extra punch to really five the melody a lead.
