A good piece of work.
I like the interface and everything is valid, the game itself can entertain for a good while, but the difficulty isn't high enough. You end up shooting asteroids until you fight the mines and homing mines, which are essentially asteroids, but almost not noticably more difficult, then you run into the dinky little fighters, which can't really hit very often, and various combinations, but then all of a sudden you are surrounded by four of them and they waste you. I tried using missiles and torpedos, but it seemed like they didn't kill them fast enough, so I died. Somehow I feel like you should be able to get permenant upgrades, but other than that you've got a good thing going.

I went through the reviews and am really impressed that you actually went through and answered most of them. Most people don't take the time to actually reply to the people who review them.

Permanent upgrades seem to be a crowd favorite. If I ever get around to updating this (or make a sequel... however well that will fly) I would probably restructure it completely. The reason I didn't really go that in-depth with this game was because I just didn't have to programming skill to make the huge game I wanted to. Now, I probably do, so there is a (low) possibilty you might see something better in the future. Well, I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reviewing, it's a lot of help!

yes i love this! the game is fun, and unlike most other flash games, doesnt have a time limit. I hate time limits. the code system was smart and gave it replayability. for some reason, this kind of reminded me of the escape velocity series by ambrosia sw (not affiliated with newgrounds). Have you ever played that?

Its great, except for the fact that the game keeps getting stuck. Sometimes when I play I kill all the eimies, but it still sounds like somehting is shooting me and I can't prgress, even though no enemies are on screen. If you fix this I'll give you a five, otherwise it gets a 4, sorry.

just one strange thing...
it was a great game. but i noticed just one thing that i just wanted to mention: i look in the extra section and there's a bunch of cheats all on disabled. i go to enable some of them but they stay disabled. what's up with that?!?

You have to unlock codes to type in the extra menu and some of the cheats will be unlocked. Every time you die one of the codes will randomly be shown to you at the end of the game. Or, you can just check some of the other reviews and get the answers there :)
