I thought it was good...
...it could use some cool power-ups or other things to blow up but it's still really good.Good response times and after a while it starts speeding up it looks like but i died before i could actually tell.if you play ONE game on Newgrounds,let it be Dad N' Me...if you play TWO games on Newgrounds,let them be Dad N' Me and Space Fighters Revolution!

Thank you very much for the great review. I agree with the powerup stuff, I should have put some more in. I might do something like that later, but chances are I won't because I am THROUGH with this game. It probably started to speed up because more enemies make it jump a bit (lag). It was brillant the best game i'v ever seen on newgrounds. This belongs on the front page. I like the idea of copying that game (i forgot the name of it) Though i would of liked it a lot more if u could go through one side of the screen and come out the other like the old game. High score 43,683 on normal difficulty.
You are probably talking about "Asteroids", the game a lot of people relate this too. However, to all of you people out there, this is a copy of the game "Space Monkeys", an unlockable minigame from Ape Escape (Playstation). Anyway, thanks for the review man. Great fricken game man. Nice job. Can i suggest a couple of things though *even if you say no i still am so NYAA*? How bout like a tractor beam where you can sorta slingshot a meteor or a mine or another enemy in the game on a collision course with another one and depending on the speed you could destroy it in one hit or 2. That would be sweet. And also think about adding a way to bump and destroy comets with you ship or bump them into one another with your ship and cause damage. Great game though man.
I like your ideas, and I was thinking about doing something like that where enemies can run into enemies. I experimented with it when the game was first in development. The main problem was once you had more that about 5 enemies on the screen it started to run INCREDIBLY slow.
I do like the idea about the tractor beam though, that was cool. I don't know if I would get around to updating this any time soon, but if I do, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for the review mate!

That was good man, things got crazy on the higher levels and that made it all the better.
And to the fuckwads who keep flaming you: The concept may not be original, but the game play is. The ship doesn't move quite the same as asteroids and the action is alot more intense. Besides, imitation is the highest form of flattery according to japanese tradition.
Keep up the good work, don't get discourged by these assholes with no life but writing reviews to make themselves feel superior.
