Reviews for "Project: Monochrome"

One of the greatest flash games yet!

I was completly blown away by this game!

The theme is very well carried out. It feels as though I am stuck inside of an episode of the Twilight Zone. The character models are perfect for the black and white setting, as they look like a 50's scifi kind of spacecraft. This doesn't look like a game made in color then converted to black and white just to be nifty, this game appears to have been designed in black and white all along.

The sounds in this game are perfect for it, maybe a little repetative, but still very good nonetheless.

My favorite part was the weapons selection. Every person who has ever played a top-down shooter knows, it's all in the weapons. I like the buy menu style rather than the pick up off the field style, as you get to choose. And the variety! There's so many, that is what absolutly sold me on this game.

Good job man! Keep up the good work!

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

Thanks and yes it was designed in black and white

time

well i realy like this game i was gonna do the review like 10 mins into the game but...i kinda pllayed for like 30 mins or so.... this game is good cant wait for more

great job really

damn. even i was wrong. if its any consolation, i thought your game deserved at least a 4... but i predicted this one pretty well (unless things change, the score as of me writing this is 3.66/5.00 with 238 votes)

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

When it was under judgment easy and hard modes didn''t work, and people votes lower, but I fixed that now, and it's score continues to rise. But hey, I have a whole nother day for it's score to rise for a portal award.

Great work

I really have complaints whatsoever. The game however is not original is presented in great fashion. The weapon upgrades were simply amazing.....my personal favorite being the level 4 laser, but thats just me. The graphics were blan only from the stand point that everything was black and white, but that is just me being me. If you added color in a sequal or re-release fine if not, fine im wont say anything. Great work again and im looking foward to a sequal, so please make a sequal.

PS.............MAKE A SEQUAL lolol

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

I MIGHT make a sequal, but I got many other projects to do first, the biggest being MAGNETISM 2, but that won't be done for a while, plus I gots to do summer reading essays

Enjoyable, But I'm Seeing Problems

While you don't deserve style points for coming up with an original idea, I like your presentation of the space-shooter genre. I enjoy most aspects of this game - the customizable weapons, the varying enemy types, etc. and there's just not much else to say about it other than it's enjoyable and you've done a good job with it.

A couple problems I have with the game. First off, the first mission appears to be broken in "Easy" mode. There comes a point where the ship flies endlessly, but no more enemies spawn, and the level end screen doesn't show up. This doesn't happen in the other difficulty settings, just story-easy mode.

Another stylistic thing I'll complain about is the ship movement - I found a problem with some of the diagonal movement. It's possible to move diagonally up and right, and in the opposite direction of down and left, but it is not possible to move up and left or its opposite, down and right. This makes me feel the game isn't quite as polished as it could be.

You did a good job, at any rate, and hopefully you'll fix some of these minor problems in future releases. It sounds like you've spent lots of time on this; I'm sure you want it to be perfect.

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

IDK about what your talking about, none of those glitches happen to me or any of my testers
Do you have flash player 7?
