Reviews for "Len - ep. 1 - part 2/2"

Good :)

Bravo! Loved the animation. Though post-apocalyptic scenarios have been done plenty of times before, I would still like to see (if possible) things such as the stories behind Len, that spaceship thing and the mechanical spiders.

This might be a silly question, but is this supposed to be set on Earth?

RonaldRaven responds:

Yeah, we thought we'd take another stab at the post-apocalyptic genre. Glad you thought it was good. There is actually quite a bit of backstory that we came up with, so it's not just random ocurrences. We're thinking about continuing the series since a lot of people asked for it. And yeh, it is supposed to be Earth.

Loved it, want a continuation!

Loved it, This is awesome, though I wish you could do something about the graphics, they were a bit fuzzy at times, and that took away from the overall quality of the flash. This is a really cool idea, and I'd like to see more of this series. It's a pretty good, high quality flash. Kinda hard to find anymore.

RonaldRaven responds:

Yeah, sorry about the compression, but had to keep it under the 5 meg limit. We tried to to put as much quality into it as we knew how to at the time. Glad you appreciated it.

dum dum

Those little robot spider dudes reminded me of some monsters on the recent doctor who :P. I know you were setting the scene and everything, post apocolyptic world etc, but just a little more action before the end would really have lent the 'to be continued' more impetus.
Also, if it was ORIGINALLY done in flash, why didn't you just send the swf file? There was a lot of detail that you couldn't appreciate as much cos of the fuzzy quality.
Still, some wicked smart skills you got there. Hurry up with part deux

RonaldRaven responds:

yeah, we had originally scripted and storyboarded a rather large action scene, but we literally ran out of time and couldn't do it since we had project deadlines to worry about. Our future work will be deadline free, so hopefully we won't have cop out endings like this. Glad you liked it, though.

make another 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

plz dude that was soooo freaking awesome make a sequel and make the graphics not fuzzy this time and you will get front page for sure if you dont w/ this submission something is wrong. so peace out and make the sequel super long and the graphics beter and you got a super movie everyone will enjoy!!!!!

jonah

RonaldRaven responds:

I'll see what I can do. Got another series in the works, but might return to this one. Front page would be cool, but, like you said, got some improving to do. Glad you enjoyed it.

hey good!!

hey man i gave u a 5!!...i love the style and the way u put the cameras....very professional...cool man!!!!i know it takes time but try to make it longer next time!!!
keep up the good work!!

RonaldRaven responds:

hey, cool, we were going for a cinematic look with the camera angles. we definitely would have made it longer too, but we were pressed for time since it was a school project. I got a new series in the works. It'll be out in a few months...maybe.
