Reviews for "FlashTrek: Broken Mirror"

6/10

not my kinda thing... still worth a 6 for me :)

fun

But i'd prefer your other FlashTrek because this one was just a lil too much for me and I know i'm not the only one out their that doesn't like a game because their was WAY too many options and things to do. some games are fun like that but this game does not work well with all those instructions and stuff. Would've been better if thier was like a tutorial at the beginning levels. Good game though. 1 thumb up d('.'d)

I like games where there are a lot of options, and where there is a growing level of complexity as you play it. I tried to make it so that you could begin doing simple trades with an easy arcade-style interface, then jump into the complex features later.

Even though it look goood.....

IT WAS TOO CONFUSING......All the different buttons Civilazation isn't as confusing as this

Star Trek flash. The graphics have that Star Trek vibe to them. Gameplay takes a minute to learn, but I mastered it with no issues. Slowdown can be an issue. Bugs will never be fixed since the source code has been lost.

Its Ok

Goddamn what a rip off of the Enterprise episode "In the Mirror, Darkly". Because of this i only gave you a 5. This is an ok game, great graphics for a flash game but too long and boring.

vex-xiang responds:

Thanks for the kudos. It is a strategy/arcade game mostly based on building your character and empire, so it is intended to be long. But, the 'mirror' universe in Trek has been around since TOS. It was featured numerous times in DS9, and it is roughly based on the DS9 mirror universe (which would be the approximate timeline of the game). Of course as most die-hard Trekkies would tell me, there are several inconsistencies that I simply made up to bring more canon Trek into the game. Keep on trekking!
