Good Re-Make...
Its OK, but the game didn't have that SHUMP (Side Scrolling Shooter) Feel to it... I mean its like a Mario game, Without Mario... But other then that I voted a 4 for it...

I like your re-make of the original r-type
Its quite good but the screen scrolls a bit too slow for my liking
Also the original R-type was way,way,way harder to play

Nice.
One major problem, the boss didn't shoot back. I assume it was supposed to, along with some of the enemies. It jsut sort of sat there while I blew it up. Fix that, add the ending screen and maybe speed it up a pinch and it would be great.

nice space shooter game.
the ship's power shot could've taken less time to charge and the game play could've been a little faster though.
otherwise, it was pretty cool.
