Good but DEFINATLY needs work
As i remember R-type when i was kid it was like near impossibly despite being very good(i couldnt beat level 1 but i was only 7) Like most reveirs said make your ship a bit faster and make enemies shoot at you. Also add more power ups. This is good engine but if you put morer time into it you could make a solid game.

I found it pretty damn fun. Thought it looked really nice too. Is something suppose to happen after you beat the giant alien thing? The boss music kept playing but you couldn't do anything :/
As said in comments I got bored and was too lazy to do somthing after the final guy.

It was almost perfect, but there were definitely a few things missing, like the enemy fire (and wasn't the boss's tail supposed to block shots?). The music and sounds were kind of annoying too, but this is THE BEST clone I have seen.

Seriously. Atleast some sort of "Game Complete" signal, not just a blank screen where you wonder if the game ended, then get curious and see how many lives you have, then you realize you have infinite (or too many), then you realize what a waste of time that was, even though it was pretty fun.
Does your ship really have to move that slow? Speed it up a tad, just my tastes.
