I've seen better guides with more info in them. The only interesting feature that mkaes your stand out is the awards explanation but still, it all could have had better explanations rather than basing it on implied meaning by showing the picture levels.

The real NG faq is more informative.
People that are new to NG are far more likely to check out the real faq then to search the flash portal for some answers to their questions. Once this gets off the main portal page it will probably never be used again.
As for some constructive critism, I think the main menu could have been designed a bit better, and explanations for how the portal awards are won could have been clearer.
It would have been easier to read the FAQ!
The writing quality was terrible, and the actual guide didn't say anything you can't find out with the FAQ. Did it really take 3 people to make that? Jeez. Maybe you could have put in some suggestions to get an animation to stay on, or whatever.
