Reviews for "Ghost Motel 8"

Ok..

well you have made a lot of movies and the graphics should be improving by now... the talking arent matching with the words showing together and the mouth. the game is cool thought and its pretty hard

Would of givin it a better score but...

This was definitely one of the glitchiest games i've ever played on NG. I mean, come on, if the sword makes contact with the enemy, IT SHOULD HURT HIM, but you made it so that a certain area of the enemy can only get hit, which is usually the center of the enemy. The bosses were a pain in the ass because you had to do a deep slash within him, but since you can't slash because you're getting constantly hurt just getting near the boss, it was almost impossible to beat them. Took me 2 lives just to beat the 2nd boss.

Also, I noticed that every level you beat, you lose one life. You really should fix that because I almost got game over because of that. Also, if there is a wall on the other side of the frame, then don't make it so that next frame without a wall can go THROUGH the wall on the next frame by going to that frame to the frame with the wall.

A pretty good game, but definitely very glitchy. Also, the music was VERY repetitive. Next time, get better music.

Not bad

Its Little bit small and there is no way to inlarge the sceen other then that its not to bad you should make more power ups in the game but its ok the way it is i give this a thumbs up

Thanks for reviewing Badgerlad. I changed the size of the window, so now it is at 400 X 550, which is standard NG flash size.

huh

huh what the hell

And Now We Plunge

This game was annoying. You decided to take a shot at a platformer and you didn't please. First off I want to talk about the controls, you say "Ctrl" to use your sword, it would've been nice if you told us to hold down Ctrl to use the sword. Now then when it comes to the game the first three levels aren't bad the only thing are the regular enemies that walk on the ground. Common logic says when you hit an enemy it shows pain and stops moving, but not the common enemies in this game they just keep on hitting you showing no pain of getting hit by a sword. Also let's talk about Level 4. It's cheap, at the beginning of the level you are automatically taking hits from a flying dragon coming from the left side of the screen and are being shot at from the right, that's real fair isn't it, just start draining away a player's life like that and they not even know it... with that said the placement of the enemies was badly done and this should have been a side-scroller instead of just pop-up into the next screen because the placement of some of your enemies made it hard to know whether or not you would get hit and sometimes you would get hit and not even know it, I died two times this way in this game. The jumping and running are good, but the sword was my only problem and that's not the game's fault it's your fault for not giving us proper instructions. It's not a bad idea for a platformer, but it was executed poorly.
