What in the hell was that?
First off Batman does NOT kill! It has been one of the longest running traits of the character since his conception. He does not believe in lethal force. I quote a line from Batman Begins that states his views on it very well "I'm no executioner." You want a batman that kills Do an AzBat animation. Don't know who that is? Look it up. Tambourineman do not site Miller's Dark Knight Returns and try to act like an authority. There is a fine line between putting your own twist on a character and completely shitting on the mythos. It's very possible to make a "Brutal" Batman without making him a murderer. In fact take a look at the very comic that you are siting. Dark Knight Returns is Brutal as all hell but he still maintains at least some respect for human life. The graphics in this were just terrible. Try looking at an anatomy book before you animate something else. As for the metal plating in his chest that's Miller's idea of Batman. Most of the time in the comics he has very weak armor woven into the make of the costume or none at all. He relies on his agility and uses the darkness around him to avoid getting shot. He's not Robocop. He cant take a full clip in the chest and walk away unscathed. Joker was absolutely pathetic in this animation. He's a hell of a lot smarter than that. And as much as Batman doesn't kill, he sure as hell doesn't kill the Joker(One of the worst parts about the Burton Batman flick). Two reasons: 1. He feels responsible for the way The Joker is. 2.He feels sorry for Joker and lets him live because he wants to help him out of his madness. (read The Killing Joke, a Death in the Family, or hell again even The Dark Knight Returns) Every time he gets his chance to kill the S.O.B. He can never see it through to the end. Music choice was horrible and did not fit the character at all. The author's arrogance is astound stating that his incarnation of Batman is better than the "last 10 years of cartoons on tv." Allow me to knock you off of your high horse and point out how utterly flawed that statement is. Your batman is a mindless killing machine. Wow that's so intriguing and has never been done before. The animated series of the 90's built an amazingly deep and interesting character while including some fantastic fight sequences. Your art style looks choppy and thrown together lacking any real skill. The animated series style was not only pleasing to the eye but fluid in consistency and animation. Stop cutting corners, slacker.
