Great job on the animation. There are some areas it could be smoother, but hey... for a flash job major kudos.

I agree w/ the previous reviewer. Batman doesn't kill. Even in the Dark Knight world, Batman didn't kill. Change that, and you might as well pick any random vigilante like Punisher to do a film about.

The second point is that Batman isn't supposed to be immune to damage. He gets cut and shot all the time. It is partially what distinguishes him from Superman and the superpowered types... he goes out to fight crime despite the cost to himself.

Anyway, well done film overall, just have issues with the story elements.

good: animation and character models were okay
bad: drawings could've been cleaned up a little bit by making them sharper and crisper
ugly: didn't seem like a darker batman, but more of a action packed one...hmmm
comment: I truely thought that this cartoon would be the one, but I thought wrong. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but I thought that you should've gone for the darker and edgier batman (Which I've haven't seen yet on this site.). It would of been soo much cooler. The action was good, but I didn't really like the idea of the Joker being killed in a car crash. Just doesn't seem quite the way to go for him, he's much tougher then that! Anyway, the action was great and with your skills, with a bit of refinement, it would be cool to see the original, dark and edgy Batman done by you. This is just a consideration though, also with more enemies like the Scarecrow or Clay Face.

good movie

this was a good movie, i liked you art as it was rough round the edges that shows you have potential and to all those who are like OMG BATS DNT KILL NO1 OMG DIE!!!!!!! i have a few things i'd like to mention.

1. yes it's true that batman doesn't kill anybody but this movie is called Batman Brutal, what were you expecting, him to take them for a walk in the park?

2. Yes Batman can't deflect ALL bullets but for any of you who have read The Dark Knight Returns (great book by Frank Miller look it up!) then you will know that Bat's has reinforced metal plating on his chest cause well he has a big yellow target on it, this can take small calibre fire up to a sniper bullet anything above that and he's toast.

3. It's THE AUTHORS version of Batman so stop putting him down

all in all 1 good movie (catwoman was a bit WTF? but funny anyway) :)

I get how it was supposed to be brutal, and it was pretty epic, but everything previous reviewers said is true.

Animation was good, voice acting sucked.
I don't think you know what "meanwhile" means. Two of the God damn Batman?!
Ones a lover not a fighter I guess.
