The only keys in the game are shift, ctrl, space, arrows, dlt, end, pgup/dn, insrt, hm, and enter. In the start of the game you are no match for the enemy ships...you need to collect resources, guard your base, and research ships and technology. When you build a better ship you can transfer to it. Details can be found in the instructions (I recommend reading all the 'tips' to learn how to play).
ths bugs are insane
i couldn't even slow down my ship after i made my first drop off of cargo or go to warp even after i unloaded my cargo.
Great, But...
Its a bit bewildering at first, and my laptop doesnt have an Ins Key so I was a bit screwed from the outset. :(

So sorry! I didn't even consider that. The insert key toggles the damage control priority. You can also prioritize damage control with the mouse by clicking on the icons if they become red.
almost unplayable
the major problem i had with this game was that the enemy attacked far too often, not giving you a decent chance to stock up on resources
Hard to play
It"s kind of hard to play but good game. Very cool and the ships look realistic. Wonder if it would have other games like it. :)
