Reviews for "REBORN (final version)"

Good guitar riffs and drums

I like the guitar riffs as well as the beginning choir, but the voice effect is WAY to overdone for my taste. No offence but it sounds alot more like an emo voice in a metal song.

Goatchrist responds:

Voice effect? I didn't use ANY effects on my vocals except for a bit of reverb. I don't know what's "emo" in there either, but I guess everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion.

Great Metal

I was hooked as it loaded in to my ears from the main audio page. This is the kind of metal that defines what exactly metal IS, this is what all metal should strive to go for.

Goatchrist responds:

Really cool review and I'm glad you appreciate this kind of metal ;)

Thank you!

Well...

Im not really a fan of Black metal, Death metal, Or whatever you call this genre. But, I do like this. I like the Guitar, And the synths are pretty good as well. The turn off for me was the lead singers voice. It was hard to understand, And without the lyrics I wouldn't of had a clue what he was singing. The Scream at about 1:50 was good.

Overall : Good for the genre which it is.

Goatchrist responds:

It might be a little hard to understand, but try reading along with the lyrics ^^

Thanks a lot!

HMMM!

well it was more death metal than anything BUT I LIKED IT ANYWAYZ!

pretty good! LOVED IT AT 2:30!

GREAT

Goatchrist responds:

awesome, thanks man :) glad you enjoyed it

Great Quality

Hey, great recording quality. That in and of itself is worth praising, and the instrumentals were pretty good, but it sounds like your singer is struggling to take a shit in the bathroom.

Regardless, I can't knock off points because its not my taste, as, from what you can see, the listeners of Newgrounds.com enjoy it. I just don't like the constipated growling.

Goatchrist responds:

Yeah, that's a matter of taste I guess - thanks for your objective review!
