Reviews for "Sadness and Sorrow v.2"

Fantastic ^^

Touching piece. . . which means it does it's job. I like it! I hope it gets used soon.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. This has been used in one flash, and a really awesome one is in the making that will use it. It will be a while until it's out, however.

breathtaking

i could feel the sorrow in each note.. it was beautiful. its only the best pieces that you can actually feel the emotion.

i agree with akuma89, it could have been much longer.

BlazingDragon responds:

Length seems to be a common criticism. Thanks for telling me and reviewing! :)

Just the title makes me cringe :/

Sadness and Sorrow.... hmmmm wonder what the song is about....

It's just was too blatant of a title... for me at least...

BlazingDragon responds:

Hahaha, I love some blunt honesty. Thank you for that. Titling music is a weakness of mine. :p

very nice

I think you should put some variety to the violin, if you want to make it more touching,,,,,,, but it still a great song just the way it is...

BlazingDragon responds:

I'll rework it and do more with the strings. Thanks. :)

That was calming really

hmmm... why I'm giving this a 9? It loops perfectly, too perfectly, I didn't notice it was just a 1:38 length tune. But if someone were to down load this, it'd have to be longer cause :
The calming, relaxing and sadness coming from this piece is just so great it has to be longer and end well enough to notice it really did finish.
The atmosphere in this song is both sad and relaxing. Why?
Here's why : (A small story)
Walking down the path in the local park, you look around you seeing people smiling, happy. It's summer, a time of sunshine and fun. But you alone can't spend it with anyone just like the people around you. Thinking of that, you start remembering the hardships you went through since childhood, all the pain, the sorrows, the betrayal and the suffering you experienced. You look up the sky, seeing clouds that are shaping into the most hurtful moments. You ask yourself in your mind : "Why?" But get no reply. A tear runs down from your eye as you look back down, halting you from continuing to walk forward. You sit down on the park bench watching everyone else still happy. You look up towards the sun and notice it's great shining beauty, and remember the good times. You smile and wipe your tear from your face and push out a breath. You stare off at the sunset sitting on the park bench still awaiting for the response of your question.
Yeah, all this came to mind during this piece played and looped, lol.

It's a soothing tune, nothing else seems to be able to describe it better.

BlazingDragon responds:

The short length and subtle ending allows for the piece easy utilization in flash scenes. If I were to flesh it out as a stand alone piece, it would definitely need more length and a definitive end. That was a great point that you brought up!

Your scene is lovely and gives me a distinct image. Such things tend to inspire me to compose. Thank you for the excellent review. :)
