Reviews for "Sadness and Sorrow v.2"

Cool.

Hey, I really like this song, but if you're looking for ways to improve it, I think you should increase the volume of the strings in the background. I didn't even notice them before reading your comments.

BlazingDragon responds:

I made sure they were quiet as to not overpower the piano. In hindsight, however, it seems that doing so may have been a mistake. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

beautiful

This song is probably sadder than the original it made my heart hurt.
regret

BlazingDragon responds:

Are you referring to Sadness and Sorrow from Naruto? Because this song is completely unrelated. :P
I'm really glad you liked it! I don't know about your head, hurting, though. xD

Thank for the review,
~Blaze

I agree

That is very touching and emotional, very sadening.

BlazingDragon responds:

I like composing sad music. :)

Thanks!

Everybody was throwing in their opinions on what this song means to them. I think i may give it a try. This song brings out a sense of inevitability in my eyes, a journey you may have embarked on or something you hoped to achieve regardless of the knowing failure in your heart. it pushes you forwards and helps you learn from these mistakes in order to help you grow as a person which is where the higher notes of this song comes into play. the background harmony is almost soothing and consoling your defeat and congratulating your progress in spite of the failure it represents. Yes, this is a sad song and it brings back those horrible twisted memories you once had and those dreams that may have been crushed but it does so in a way that makes it into a bitter sweet moment. I love this piece and it plays alot in my mind in my everyday life whenever something tragic happens and it makes me smile, knowing there was nothing i could do to prevent it but i tried anyway. This may well be what plays in my head when my time comes to pass and i move into the next life whatever it may bring. Thank you for this beautiful musical masterpiece and i apologise for such an incoherent rambling about your work and do hope you continue to keep dishing them out.
Cheers.

"...something you hoped to achieve regardless of the knowing failure in your heart."

I've felt this way about music at times. Thoughts crawl into my mind and tell me that I didn't start early enough or that I don't have enough talent. Despite that, I continue to compose. Writing music allows me to convey emotions in a way that I'm unable to do with words, and it is inspiring to find that my work has touched the lives of others. Knowing that helps keep me going.

What you wrote also reminds me of a relationship I was in. I truly thought that I loved this girl and that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Despite my efforts though, the relationship fell apart and we drifted. It's sort of bittersweet remembering our time together, but I know that the future is bright and that there is hope in the future.

Thank you for the review. Now we have both written incoherent ramblings. :p

This music is amazing, i wonder how can i play this music with guitar?

BlazingDragon responds:

I have piano sheet music for this, but nothing for guitar. I'd make a tab if I knew how.

Thanks! :)
