Reviews for "Lander II - Lunar Rescue"

Stolen idea, but made his own

Ive played this game when it was called Lunar Lander. The author took the idea and made it his own. Although, he added some features and spice to his game so im not gana say he stole it.

Seawana responds:

Well, gee. Thanks for not saying I stole the idea. :-)

And by the way, I've played dozens of versions of this game. I figured it was time to make my own.

I agree with Inuyashasfollow

I agree, the game gets really difficult really fast. As in level 3. the sound from the jets got annoying, too. Other than that the game was pretty solid.

Seawana responds:

I was worried that the levels might be too dificult. This is a common problem when building a game and doing all the playtesting as well. I find the levels to be difficult, but still reasonable. To others, they may be too hard.

This is one reason why I added the map code feature. It gives you the ability to skip levels you have completed.

Anyhow, thanks for the review. I'm glad you liked the game.

Very Good...

Wow. This is good for less than 1MB. Keep it up.

not good

not very exciting, glitches like when i came back to life once and was in the rocks and couldn't move. i died atot because of that. and dude, make it better. this may be old-school, but it sucks.

Disappointed

I have to say that I was extatic when I saw this here, I loved the first one so much, way back when that came out. But unfortunatly, I was dissapointed with the second, I found it, although better looking, riddled with bugs and errors. I would crash in the air without hitting the ground, or fall through the ground.

Seawana responds:

I still have not even encountered the "crashing in mid air" bug, so I have no idea what is causing this.

That said, if you are really close to a wall, you can still crash if tilted to the side since the engine thinks your feet are still out flat.

I think you'll find that falling through the ground is possible for a reason in the first one too, so nothing new there.

Anyhow, I hope you'll play again and look past any flaws.
