As for the song, as many others it stirs up feelings, and the scenario of a king and his destroyed kingdom paved the way for the song. Great song, loved it!

What I think...
I am sitting on the moon. I had just witnessed the destruction of Earth. Tears stream down my face as I just sit there, regretting that I had ever left there. I told my self I will find whoever did this to my planet and bring them to justice.
Years later...
I walk slowly towards my death. The galaxy government branded me as a traitor because i had found out about their plan to build a "highway" and had tried to warn people of the planets they were about to destroy. The executioner ties a noose around my neck. I look up to the sky and i whisper my last words...
" Maria...I'm sorry..."
..."I'm sorry too..."
The executioner takes off her hood.... and there I see her...
Maria....
She pulls the handle....and I fall....
We both regretted the same thing....we had to see each other at the end...
"But I forgive you..."
Anyways...this is a beautiful song. Amazing work.

That was a pretty sweet story. I love the irony in the end. Kind of reminds me of Death Note when *spoiler* Ryuk write Light's name in his notebook. Very well done : ).

Wow, I'm glad I've listened to this song. It sounds very sad but it has some kind of softness too, because in my opinion, someone who regrets his deeds isn't a bad person at all since he knows that he has done something wrong.
This actually gave me some inspiration for the background story of the main character in a story that I've recently build up. Thank you very much for that inspiration ^.^
The character is a silent but wise and kind man who only fights to protect himself or others. He even manages to touch the hearts of two people who wanted to kill him for their own reasons. By realizing their weaknesses and fears he shows sympathy for them and after making them confused but also showing that he wants to help them and giving them advice, they end up travelling alongside him. In the end it turns out that he didn't use to be who he is now.
In his past, many people died by his own hands. His friends and his love later turned their backs against him when they found out his past, but in the end they were killed by people who wanted to have revenge on that character. When that character learns about this, he too takes revenge on his avengers but fails because he ends up not being able to kill anymore, since he sees the faces of his friends and his love whenever he is about to kill someone. After that, he realizes how horrible he himself had been and begins to repay his deeds by learning the skill of healing and protecting, because he knows the pain of losing people that were very important to him and doesn't want anyone else to have that same pain.
I hope this doesn't sound too cliché or cheesy though xD

Love, blood, gray and sadnes.. I can see an old love story, there is a man that haw lost his wife. murderd befor his eyes.. holding her in his arms and cruse his own life..
