Lot of heartfelt emotion in this song. Tragedy strikes and in comes the regret or possibly shame by the sound of it. I can't completely remember where you were taking this but those images evoke me when I hear this tune all over again.
I feel a bit different when I listen to this song. I'm guessing you changed it around a bit, no? Anywho, this song deserves a SOLID 9 to me from this listen around. Congrats!
Hey, thanks for checking out the final version! Thanks for your constructive criticism on your earlier reviews. You hit the nail on the head when you said you visualized this song being about tragedy, regret and shame. That's kind of what I was hoping people would hear.
I didn't really change anything around on it. I added some percussion to it (crashing cymbal and toka drum) to give it a more powerful feel. I also messed a little bit with the levels of some of the instruments as well. Other than that, it's almost the same version as the other one.

Have you played SSBB? Specifically, the Subspace Emissary (the adventure mode)? This song kinda makes me think of the Ancient Minister, and how he is sad how more and more ROBs have to be sacrificed. Very good job!
I rocked the shit out of SSBB. I actually took a whole week off of work so I could do nothing but play it, lmao. AAANNNNDDD Rob just happens to be my favorite character.
Anyways, yes. I can picture a sad rob montage going to this song. Especially the part where all the other Robs beat the crap out of him! Thanks for the review!

Missing something....
A 9, not a 10 you ask? I think it was missing something important. Although the beat and melody weren't repetitive, it felt like it was trying to build up the intensity and burst out with it like a volcano. But that never came. Let me put it this way: It seems like your song was representing a sad moment in a movie etc, but usually when theres a sad moment theres a build up and then a breakdown you know. Not quite sure how to describe it... But an epic piece none the less.
