A message from the P.T.P foundation...
As an active member of the P.T.P (Protect the Pumpkins) foundation I am hearby obligated to file a formal complaint against the author of this obscene flash program. I feel that it is my duty to discourage any anti-pumpkin pro-jack-o-lantern activities that come to my attention. As the pumpkins cannot speak for themselves, we here at the P.T.P foundation are burdend with the responsibility to be the voice of these helpless vegitables. Naturally we are opposed to the old halloween tradition of pumpkin mutilation. This is a sick, sensless crime that must be stopped. These pumpkins cannot defend themselves, and pose no threat to the human population. Also, this activity could also be construed as racism, as it is only pumpkins (and occasionally large squashes) that are targeted for these activities. No one ever carves a tomato, for example.
With plenty of other halloween decoration choices available, we at the P.T.P do not feel that pumpkin desicration is nescisary, and we urge all would-be partakers of this ancient tradition to find other non-pumpkin related holliday activites.
P.S.
Pumpkin pie is OK as long as the pumpkin was mercifully killed before preperation.
