The Power is an action packed Metroidvania style platformer with stylish graphics, awesome music and simple yet challenging gameplay. Are you up for an adventure to uncover the mystery behind The Power?

Quite fun, but that annoying sound/music thing just got on my nerves, Muting the music mutes the games effects as well? Ill give it 3.5 stars for being a pretty challenging little platformer with decent upgrades. Needs to be updated tho as its showing its age now

Reminded me of the original metroid games in all the right ways, great job.

We live in an era of gaming in which metroidvania games are not respected to the extent that they should. This is not only a fantastic representation of that genre, but more importantly, it is an exercise for the imagination. While "graphics" and whatever it is that "gameplay" means are quickly being thrown out the window in favor of repetitive garbage and flair, it is refreshing to play something so unassuming and full of culture. The player is allowed to imagine the world, with just enough suggestion through graphical representation, and that is a great feeling. The difficulty is understandable, as the game is not too hard nor too easy, and allows itself an interrepresentational facade that anyone can access. (There is no hand-holding in explanation, the game teaches the player in stride.) Thanks for putting together something so nostalgically comforting as well as stimulating.
