I found this game amazing. The art style is quite nice. This game is quite difficult. Can anyone help me an tell how I kill the second boss?

How do I get my health back? I keep losing health and never getting any back till the game ends, and I have to start over. Fix this.

Though I had to cutt off early the time I did play I do have to say it was fun.
I really like the retro style of the game and the bosses were pretty easy it was all mostly about conserving your health and not being hit on trash then on the bosses it was E-Z mode. But anyway great game.
