I'm really sorry if I offend anyone with this movie. That isn't the purpose of it. This movie is meant to deliver a message: "Abuse of power is bad. Especially when that power is potentially lethal to thousands of innocent, i say again, innocent civilians." When you vote or review, please take this in to account. Don't vote or review badly, just because you don't like the subject.

After having read all of the reviews for this movie, I thought I might just add to the description that I have read a lot of history before making this movie. I still believe I was right for making it, and I still think I'm correct about all the points that I make in it. Anyway, it's nice to see that the people of Newgrounds have opinions to.

Also, the sound is set to "Event" so, slow computers, set the quality to low!

Thankyou!

"its my opinion"

date: February 18, 2009

america actually did make an apology a sincere one too but really they didnt need to apologise because yes i know the bomb was a terrible tragedy but it was neccesary for it saved millions of lives if it wernt for the bomb the japanese would then kill thousands of more chinese civilians and russia would have gone into another major war and we would have to invade japan causing much more tragedies so the bomb was actually a neccesary evil a 9 for the graphics to good point but could have been a ten if it was a bit longer

"Animation good, Message off"

date: July 28, 2006

Let me start off by saying that the movie was well done and the graphics were good as well. However, since you made a film with a message, I feel like I should convey my opinion on the matter. Without a doubt, the bombing of Hiroshima was an awful event, as was the later bombing of Nagasaki. It seems to me though, that the bigger picture is being forgotten here. The mentality of the Japanese military, and of citizens of Japan, at the time of WW II was that they were lead by not just an emperor, but a god. Therefore, they were prepared to fight to the last man to defend their nation and their emperor. Which leads me to the point that the use of the atomic bomb seemed almost inevitable. How many lives, Japanese and American, would have been lost if a full-scale invasion of Japan were used instead of the bombs? Also, after witnessing the immense power of the atom bomb, Japan did not immediately surrender. As I said before, it took a second bomb to finally convince Japan that it was in their best interest to surrender to the U.S. I think if you are going to have such a message in your movie, you should do a little more to put it into context.

"For shame America."

Well you learn something new everyday but i really had no idea how bad it was for Japan in WWII with that bomb,no reason why this would be offensive to anyone (except the ignorant) but more of a history lesson, good artwork came with it too so great job.

"rethink"

date: May 14, 2006

What many people dont know is that it was estimited that we would sustain 1,000,000 casulities if we were to invade the Archepelico of Japan.......thats not even including the casulities that the enimy would sustain......it would have probly been if the 3,000,000 range for a total of 4,000,000 casulties......so rethink this, 600,000 casulities with each bomb droped or 4,000,000 casulities if invaded, so by droping the bomns we saves 2,800,000 peoples lives
