That was one very moving flash. These narrow minded fools don't know what they are saying. That is simply one of the greatest movies I have seen on newgrounds. Its going to my favorites...NG needs more serious movies like this. And not the mindless stick killing movies. Keep it up man. Keep it up.
We should not apologize for the attack
We, as the Allied nations of WW2, should not apologize. First, it wasn't just the United States who built it, Canada supplied the uranium, and many other nations provided their best scientists to build it.
The reason why Pearl Harbour is so remembered by the American people is that Pearl Harbour was a suprise attack, while the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not, as well as the Japanese emperor had the chance to surrender to the Allies after the first attack, but didn't, so they used the second one.
Also, when they massacred millions of surrendering Chinese troops and the brutality against the captured Americans, Australians, etc., the few hundred thousands that were killed by the bombs was nothing compared to the millions killed by them.
They will never get an apology from anyone.

Don't listen to what everyone else says. I've been to the Hiroshima museum and peace park. It was a great tribute. And for all the people that are politically inept it was not a test. They did that in Nevada. It was not to end the war quicker, Japan tried to surrender twice before the bombing (once on feb 14 the other in June. Lastly after the bombing Truman was qouted as saying "This is the Greatest thing ever." (Qouted from Epperson's book The Unseen Hand) There was certainly no need to Drop the Nagasaki bomb either.

Why would the US appologize? It was done as a test, to end the war quicker, and to show what for to the Russians. The Russians were allowed to take Berlin b/c we waited, why shouldn't the US use anything they can to be the ones to beat Japan, the country that surprise attacked them and cost thousands of lifes? The country that attacked and took over multiple countries using sneaky tactics. The country that teamed up with the genocidal Nazis. Also, the US helped with the rebuild and are responisble for them being the industrial powerhouse they are today. While the bomb killed many, so did the did the Japanese, war is hell, crap happens, stop complaining.

I found that to be a great flash, and more importantly, an educational one. I'm giving it full marks, but I also agree with the reviewer before me. When they dropped the bomb, they didn't actually know how effective it would be (It was a prototype) and they didn't have a clue about the thousands of people the radiation would claim. Don't forget Nagasaki either.
