My only problem was combat. I couldn't defend myself at all when I came under attack. I couldn't even fire.

Fly across the space, do odd jobs, kill innocent passerbys, upgrade your ship and boost your skills.
This is a sandbox-type game, with a busy sector of space as a playground. Ships of five factions fly, trade, fight with each others and you. 99 space stations offer you goods to trade, ship parts to buy and use, and contracts to fulfill. Try to reach rank of Elite (and even higher), and get all 100 game achievements.
Needs a story, but very good.
I think that a stroy line would help, but apart from this a very fun game. Hint, when you are a high enough level, go to Sao Paulo, Defensora, and battalius, and gte the best tech there

A randomized buying system.Something can be very common and still cost lots o' cash.Even if it's not worth it.I love this aspect of the game.

Nearly perfect
I started playing this game over at Mochi so all of my experience is over there, but this game is tight. it gets a little too easy once you know what you're looking for (namely Requiems with a really high battery and superb repair droids) but it sure was daunting at first! Good learning curve and totally randomized parts make for a truly unique experience! The only thing I would suggest is custom parts and the ability to upgrade old equipment.
Multiplayer would be badass but a pain to make, I would imagine.
