Reviews for "Void: Mostly Harmless"

Great

I love the game
i wish it had a story line
maybe you could turn it into a multplayer game
well if you did id play it

I just finished everything a while ago.

I don't find a lot of faults with this. The AI fights well, that I applaud you for. There are no bugs that I found, that is also a big thing.

Well, I know that items are randomized at intervals, but I just find it weird that some items tend to be overpriced (Mouse and Pill class cargo ships tend to be extremely expensive). Engines and Repair drones tend to follow the same pattern of overpriceness. Other than that, I find this game a masterpiece.

Excellent

A brilliant game, one that still keep playing, and one of the better submissions to the portal. I'm genuinely surprised this hasn't made the front page. So, the review:

The good:
- Large 'sandbox' style universe
- Variety of missions
- Good sound quality
- Impressive AI
- Range of enemies/allies
- Satisfying build up of skills/ships/achievements

The bad:
- Becomes repetetive
- No storyline (aside from the achievements)
- Player starts with an already relativley high level craft (though that's just my opinion)
- Interface is a little daunting at first (though quickly becomes second-nature)

Conclusion:
An all round winner - excellent fun to play for a while and very engaging. Plenty of room for...not so much improvements as 'add-ons' if you were to go on to make a sequel (which I sincerly hope you do). Congrats, and I hope everyone else enjoys playing it as much as I have.
