I love this game.

I have seen other space sims where you are free to roam but none have the attractiveness that this one does. First the bad parts. Where's the music? I didn't mind the silence because it allowed me to just play my own music, but yuo should of at least put some space sound effects or a low volume engine noise. Of course the game does get repetitive too, but I don't mind. I love just wandering around making money trying to get the best ship possible. There is only weakness in variety, after you've played for at least an hour. I have completely mauled this game, I mean really dug into it. The possibilities of making money AND exp for awesome skills makes you want to keep playing and playing and playing. The graphics are suitable for such a game and the lack of audio is a small error that doesn't necessarily take away from the game. Perhaps an update with more sound effects? Maybe even an expansion. This game would become extremely popular if it was multiplayer/bigger. Brilliant work, I wouldn't mind seeing an updated and modified version on the Xbox Live Arcade. Bravo!

Thanks a lot for a kind and detailed review:) To be honest, I'm not happy with a lot of things in game myself (in fact - most things), but I had to stop updating and release it, or I'd keep changing it forever:) I'm already making a sequel, where I'll address things you mentioned as well.
but about music and sound - they are present in game, actually. Check "Settings" in game menu, may be you set volume too low somehow.

Addictive!

I played alll night long... literally hours.
I love the game play.. and the goals..which alot of games leave out..

tips

make each faction a bit bigger... add planets
well there are tons of ways to improve on it...which is another plus

finnally a game like this THAT ISNT TURNED BASED

combine this with pardus and itll be the greatest sci fi rpg

This game is really addictive and has lots of life in it,

I just finished everything a while ago.

I don't find a lot of faults with this. The AI fights well, that I applaud you for. There are no bugs that I found, that is also a big thing.

Well, I know that items are randomized at intervals, but I just find it weird that some items tend to be overpriced (Mouse and Pill class cargo ships tend to be extremely expensive). Engines and Repair drones tend to follow the same pattern of overpriceness. Other than that, I find this game a masterpiece.

Nearly perfect

I started playing this game over at Mochi so all of my experience is over there, but this game is tight. it gets a little too easy once you know what you're looking for (namely Requiems with a really high battery and superb repair droids) but it sure was daunting at first! Good learning curve and totally randomized parts make for a truly unique experience! The only thing I would suggest is custom parts and the ability to upgrade old equipment.

Multiplayer would be badass but a pain to make, I would imagine.
