Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

This has been the most difficult film I have ever made, because its meaning is very true to my soul. For too much of my life I have been a mindless consumer of time. Hopelessly placing value in things that never gave an ounce of value back. Now that I am older, I worry endlessly that this new generation is making the same mistakes I now deeply regret.

In the end, I hope my message is honest and clear. Whether you agree with me or not, please share you thoughts, spark meaningful discussions, and share this film with everyone you know.

Special thanks to all those who have been my strength - and to all of you for taking a moment to open your minds =)

woah

man a lot said. I also wasted a huge portion of my life like that but, I was lucky enough to wise up sooner and its good to see someone make a solid statement about it like this.

Well articulated!

I enjoyed that you covered both positive and negative aspects of the gaming world. Many people fail to realize the negative tolls that accumulate over time. Little things add up, and this video was really well thought out in making that point. Grounding the movie with your own experiences also allowed me to connect and sympathize with your view, more so than if the personal elements were left out.

I like how the video ended on a positive note, however, I feel that it was a bit rushed, as a bit of an after thought.

That's...

...the most interesting flash i've ever seen... wich is a lot better than "The most well animated" or "the most funny" etc.
I haven't words how to describe it, only numbers: 10/10 - 5/5

you could not be more right

i feel that certin videogames do indeed bring people together, the biggest examplr of this would be rockband. People who hate videogames or dont play them love rockband/guitar hero becuase of what it brings, which is the opprotunity to be a rock star with ur friends and family while meeting other people (if u go to compations), its great!!! Also, i love video games, but usually i get bored or tried within the hour or two i play, so im not one of those people that spend hours infront of the tv, those people are the ones that give videogamers badnames. The ones that sit for hours infront of the tv playing games give us the name of lazy people or people who have no lives, when it is just the opposite. So great work, and this is the longest review i ever wrote if that shows/means anything to how much i agree with ur statements.

I will agree. There have always been games that bring people together. Rock band is one such game. Years ago, even my grandfather played Duck Hunt, and in that instance, it was well worth it.

you are a brilliant man

some people don't ever figure this out, but you have while you can still make more of yourself, good show, this is now one of the most inspirational flashes i have seen so far on NG. good show Brian, good show
