Nice that you figured out you had a problem and fixed it. Far too many people go ahead and blame video games for their wasted time/lives when you have the choice on what you did with that time. The video game or the company didn't force you to do it, you did it yourself and when more people realize this less time will be wasted. You may not do anything great or anything better with your time, but at least you aren't giving the game all of your time.

The Penny Arcade portion of it is proof that time spent playing video games is not wasted time. It is all on how you manage your time.

I am 25 and also have spent pretty much all of my life playing video games from atari to all recent consoles. And almost everything you have said here is true. I also am not bashing video games/makers/players, but the overwhelming amount of games out on the market make it hard to quit. Almost every week there is a new game that pulls you back in for more. Not blaming video games directly but my social skills are weak,and I tend to think that it is due to all the time spent locked in a room playing games then being on a sports team in high school, or being part of a club. You have done this video very well, and I hope that at least one person that is addicted to video games learns to control (not stop playing, but control) their addiction. You have my backing, and anyone reading this who may still be in high school, please, join a sport or club or other activities in your school or community, you don't have forever and I know it is one of my biggest regrets.

I watched this flash with an open mind. I always willing to hear what people have to say. Most of the time people say garbage and waste my time But you sir did not. Your opinion was very valid and changed my perspective of video games. Kudos to you my friend, you are truly inspirational!
