Be patient. Good pictures aren't spawned in twenty seconds. (No, thirty minutes isn't enough sometimes, sometimes it takes days.)
Have a STRICT eye to detail (unless drawing free hand with a pencil tool), especially with that sword... eugh... Parallel and perpendicular lines, appropriate coloring, and correct sizes and shapes (that handle is absolutely too tiny) are key to making a good drawing. Also, spend some time detailing it carefully. If you're using Paint, get out that zoom tool and draw PIXEL by PIXEL. Painstaking, but the outcome is so much better.
I'm not an artist by nature, but knowing the basics will lead to the creation of an acceptable drawing. Effort helps too.
i did some spray practice and i wanted to attempt on a teddy bear and here was the out come!
P.S:The teddy bear face is a bit hard to make out but you will see it eventually!!

I can see the inspiration! Glad I could help. :D
hi, old to newgrounds, new to being a part of it. I don't like a naruto, but my sister did. drew these for her.
Man. You guys are awesome. I can't believe it's taken me this long to stumble across this place.
Anyway. I spend most of my (amateur) drawing time on people. Here's a kitty. Exported in Fireworks to preserve quality.
Was messing around and scared myself by drawing the guy on the left

Amen brother. Wish you would use that quality in your comic but whatever lol.
A little WIP on a fusion of 10 or so of my characters into one.. aptly named McGod. Had to down the quality a lil.

I try, sometimes. And then other times I don't.
Really, the art takes a backseat to the writing, which apparently sets my comic apart from other people's because I take the time to read my comic once or twice before I submit it to the internet.

Sweet.. Really original..
Pic I made in under 3 minutes, describes a good bit of the work in this thread, don't get me wrong; there's some good pictures in this thread, I'm just describing the ones that are badly done.
I'm aware of the hypocracy, thank you.

Great, trying to stop people realising they haven't got much to show, by drawing this minute drawing AND you already realise the hypocracy. THIS ISN'T HELPING.
A dude told me that my art forum thread got deleted and told me to post it here. Well, here it is...my first damn thing on paint.
Alright, fine. More effort for me.
