3xOsc, Sampler, BooBass, Beepmap, Plucked, Fruit Kick, Chrome ,FPC, WaveTraveller, Dashboard, KB Controller, Fruity Vibrator, Midi Out, FL Slayer, FL Keys, Granuliser, and Slicex are all the things you can use. No Wasp. :P

lol, someone should do a "beepmap only" song. It would be wierd, but it would be good to see if anyone could pull it off. Although I guess a FL Core song will be hard enough!

I would like to see a "beepmap only" song too. It would be pretty interesting. Anyway, I don't relly think that FL Core is that hard. After all, FL is designed to be self-sufficient. Unless you really really want better sounds, like most of you ^^", then I'd say that most people are more likely to stick to FL.

Can you not use ANY samples that arent from FL Producer? I mean, do we have to use the stock "dance" kicks n shit, or can we use our own WAVs?

Also, Because "Edison" comes with Producer, can we record audio and use that?

Oh, and are we allowed to use effects, like filters n stuff (assuming they came with producer)?

Ths samples MUST be included in the FL studio pack. Which means, only the dance, hip hop, real drumkits, vintage, and other samples that are tucked away in the included projects examples (the cool stuff folder I think it was called) canj be used. Try layering samples, EQing em, messing with FX- look at MrMilkCarton's example and he did a great job of altering the kick so it doesnt sound like a raw stock sample. Be creative.

I don't see why you couldn't use those FX, as long as the FX are included with the producer.

And Nate, could you prehaps postpone the due date a little. The list kinda looks a bit small. Maybe we could get more people in it if we waited a little longer, e.g. Winterwind or zero-bass. Could sm1 send them an e-mail or smthn.

Could I join as a voter even though I have never ever touched FL once in my life? Or would it defeat the purpose that I'll judge the song purely based on its quality, and not how well they used the default FL elements? If not, put me up there

Well, I'm fine with about a week r so into June, considering there are still people coming into the competition.

June sounds good. Anyway, if there are going to be more people to join, I think we'd need more advertising or something. Make an announcement or whatever the heck flash artist do.

Lol, that's what the whole competition is about.

I used the Club basic kick and Dance kick(s) for mine lol, they turned out nice through mixing. Like its been said they have alot of hidden goodies in the Coolstuff songs. All the samples they give you through mixing and the sampler can be made into legit sounding instruments.
