Watch it on shrooms.
No it was about the black plague when it was about.
The sneezing part of the rhyme is about how sneezing is one of the first symptoms and then they die soon after it... :D
or something like that :)
You just hit the nail on the head my good sir! Thats what i've always been told anyways.

I wouldn't say it's about drugs so much as out of body experiences in general.

No, I have the documentary on the book, notice how the cattipillar smokes opium. The whole movie is about hilousenating on psycadelic drugs such as LSD, Opiuts, etc.

I guess.
It's sad how Walt Disney made cartoons for kids as a break from the reality that the world is fucked up, and as soon as he dies, there are illusions in Disney movies about sex, drugs, and murder.

Why does everybody ignore my posts when they're the only credible ones?
LSD wasn't synthesized until 1938, the book was written in 1865. It's not about LSD, the possibility of it being about opiates is slim. It was a tale that started out as a story that the writer told some girls, made it up on the spot for them. So it was most likely whatever came into his head at the time, he then later refined it in texts, but my guess is that the size change of alice is the only part of the book that is truly inspired by a drug, which I have said earlier was the Fly Agaric mushroom.
What can a thoughtful man hope for mankind on Earth, given the experience of the past million years? Nothing

ring around the rosy was about the bubonic plague
The story was about drugs. In the movie, Wonderland was all in Alice's dreams. In the book, she took opium and that was all the stuff she saw. So the book, yes, is based on drugs. The movie is just based off the book for kids. It cuts major things out of the book for obvious reasons.

The Murloc says.. "MWWRRAARRGGLLGGHH"
ofcourse ring aroud the rosey is about the plague...didn't your teachers ever tell you?
I was on mushrooms last night and everything i saw related to alice in wonderland. Everything visual in that movie is what you can see on mushrooms. The bright colors, strange sense of depth perception and size are all mushroom related.
If it was about drugs it'd make a lot more sense.
The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls.
Yeah, the guy who wrote it was extremely high on acid. Seriously.
eh.

I'm going to rent the movie tomorrow at Blockbuster. Who here knows the truth about Alice in Wonderland? I tried google, but found nothing specific.
The cheeshire cat and the rabit. When Lewis Carrol wrote Alice in Wonderland, specialists speculate he was high on opium ( a legal drug at the time), like a lot of other people.
Check out these videos. Mastermind (1+2), tankmen (all) Awesome Compilation (1,2,5,6) and the Brakenwood series. :)
Update: Listen To Echoes Pink Floyd and Learning to fly
Okay i think the person who wrote the book might have been a pedophile, mathematician possibly on drugs . BUT the ppl who wrote the book and the ppl who made the movie are like 80yrs apart. So saying that i think the writers responsible for making the movie were on drugs not the original writer of the story

The author of Alice in Wonderland was sort of high when he wrote the story. It's obvious there will be several drug references.

Theres also a nursery rhyme that has almost died out now but was really big. It was about a rapist
Georgie Peorgie Puddin and Pie (Georgie being his name)
Kissed (raped) the girls and made them cry
When the boys (cops) came out to play
Georgie Peorgie ran away (self explanatory)
