Yeah, so I first noticed this on Sunday. He seemed a little too close to her. It didn't concern me then, because I knew they were friends.(Just not that close of friends). BUT, today, she told me he's been hitting on her. This is a problem. He asked her to a J ROTC(Military sponsored class @ school) Dance. I'm only letting her because I trust her. But, I fear this may make him think she feels the same for him. I know she doesn't, though.

Tomorrow at school, I'm gonna confront him about this. I'm gonna tell him, plain and simple "Hey, Alex, do me a favor. Don't ever let me hear that you've been hitting on my girlfriend again. I don't want to have to do something about this, but I will, if I have too. So just stop, for me."

So, NG, any advice an what I should tell me girlfriend concerning this issue? I don't want to seem overly-protective of her, but I don't want guys thinking they can hit on her while she's with me.

I won't fight him unless I need to. He's more of the "get hit and don't do anything" kind of guy. And, I doubt my girlfriend would be happy about me fighting friends of ours. Although he's more oaf an acquaintance to me.

Penny's got a point... your girlfriend seems to be going along with your friend... but, on the plus side, your girlfriend is the envy of all of your disloyal friends.

If you are intelligent the guy won't be your friend anymore. If your girlfriend knows he wants to "steal" her from you she wouldn't be his friend anymore. I can understand a friend loving your GF and dreaming she would be his, but I can't understand if he tries to. He tried, and apparently can't get anyone at our school(she doesn't go to same school, all 3 of us are co-workers). I guess that explains why he's trying to get with another guy's girl. And they are only going as friends. I have a feeling she's going more out of pity, though. So I get to laugh at him.
