Indeed it is. I didn't mention the exact developers due to the fact that I've posted all four Quintet full-RPGs (not including actraiser, seeing as that's largely a fighting game). Also, speaking of quintet, after months of putting it off due to the language barriers, I'm attempting to play through the German fan-made Terranigma 2. It'd be great, but due to the fact that I can't read the dialogue (and by god is there a lot of dialogue) I have no clue what to do. D:

I'm guessing from the resolution that that's a PSP game, although I have no clue which one. It looks like the kind of thing that'd be pretty obscure, hopefully someone'll get it. Right now I'm about to give an old DOS strategy game a try, wondering if anyone can guess the name from this screenshot:

Actually, I just got lucky. I saw a friend playing it once, and have no idea what an /int/ bernd is.

Oh, and if you can guess correctly, you're probably from... some website's /int/. And if you know what that means, you win the internet.
Europa Universalis 3?

Indeed it is, bro. I've never actually been able to get into any of the Caesar games, despite the fact that as a whole I love strategy games, both realtime and turnbased. I might have to give it another crack sometime soon, often replaying games just a few weeks onwards from when I didn't enjoy playing at all somehow ends up with me loving the game.

Another DOS game for you all, an RPG here from a well-established series:

Arena indeed. It looks slightly like the opening dungeon of Daggerfall, too, so either way you're pretty much right. While we're on the theme of TES, one free internet goes to whoever can mention the name of this game is. It's a recently developed German Oblivion TC which IMO is even better than the original game, by quite a bit, it has great translations, too.

Unlike the fanmade Terranigma 2, which doesn't even fucking have english translations </3

Ah, yes, Nehrim! I've been eyeing it a lot when I still played Oblivion but I felt it was too big to download. I have a 6 GB cap, you see, and I wouldn't want to approach that any more than I've approached it now.

Can anyone guess the coolest platformer game of all time? Sorry for the low image quality.

I might post yet another picture. :3 I'll fetch my memory stick and rummage through my SNES collection for something nice and obscure for all of you and take a screenshot of it.

Yeah, I heard that there was a pretty good version of Street Fighter 2, a great Samurai Shodown port, and the original Need for Speed.

This man has the right idea. It's not a bad sidescroller at all, but I'd much rather play something a little less... generic. The graphics are generic, the gameplay is generic, it's pretty much just a massive pile of generic sidescroller elements thrown on top of each other.

Got another screenshot, from a very frustrating little NES game:
