Personally I think SEGA now needs to improve the supporting cast gameplay in the next title so it's proven nostalgia is not the ONLY means for the blue blurs survival throughout the years.

Examples:

knuckles can get beat em up stages.

You can use tails plane and actually have full control combating enemies.

I dunno, I would like them to try to do the "sonic heroes" concept all over again since teaming up with other characters was done well. I'm guessing some type of "party member" system should be implemented too.
-Knuckles finds hidden stuff (Like in Generations)
-Tails can carry sonic while flying (again, like in generations)
I'm guessing more characters can be added so it adds more variety and replayibility,but that's just
my two cents. I would also like it if the "skill sets" are still being kept for future titles.

You should try out the saturn port. It has updated graphics, and the special stages have real 3d graphics.

Eh, it was okay at best. After playing it again over the winter break I couldn't play it for more than 10 minutes without getting bored/uncomfortable watching the screen.

Just dl'ed the latest updated version of Sonic Classic............although it took me a little while to find a working link since the MU one is obviously dead.......

Right now, I only have one thing to ask: How the fuck do ya complete the first Bonus Level & get the first Emerald? I'm assuming ya have to get a certain amount of Rings, but only the little Rings seem to count towards the total, and I can't seem to get enough within the frigging time limit. :/

Regarding my previous Sonic Classic question, nvm; after seeing a review of the game on YT, I saw that the Rings have nothing to do with finding the Emerald in the first place.

I did, however, find an interesting glitch; if you, at the character select, keep changing characters rapidly and switching Tails on & off, eventually the selection will stop working; when you start the level immediately afterward, you get stuck with a working, playable double-character sprite of both Shadow & Metal Sonic that can't move anywhere. I'm assuming they're playable (unlockable), then. (You have to get out of the select screen and then back in again in order to undo the glitch...........I think.)

There's already a Sonic Classic 2 being made, and the YT vids of it look fucking awesome! Revamped graphics, completely custom music, and the ability to combine shields together...........MORE PLEASE.

Found another hidden playable character in SC1 doing that glitch from before, except this time it worked correctly.........mostly. Some orange Sonic recolor w/ some brown thing sticking out of his head, and his idle pose has him chuckling like Beavis/Butthead or something. He's still glitched, however; he doesn't vanish when he hits a Special Stage Ring, and he becomes invisible when in the stage itself - which is a bitch.

Which video game console were you playing on?

On the PC version.
The in game buttons show XBOX buttons.
You can technically play with the keyboard and configure the keys, but I use a PS like gamepad.
Its much more easier!

You can find the first Sonic Classic on Sonic Retro = but the link given on the site itself is an old MegaUpload link, so obviously it's now useless. Luckily, the official thread on their forums has new working links for it.

SC2 hasn't been made yet; there's YT videos of its future awesomeness, though.
