Strange thing to ask, but I was looking at this piece and, horrible awe and depression aside, I noticed that the person who made it doesn't seem to know very much about the character that she spent 410 hours pixellating. Being a horrendous geek, I wanted to write a review pointing out inconsistencies about what she says/depicts, but I decided against it because I have no actual technical criticism to offer and would end up just geeking out a bit and then praising the thing. I was wondering, though, what you guys think:

How bad is it to make a review based on the idea behind a piece or of the author instead of on the actual image?

It is very nearly perfect (and is most certainly some of the best pixel art I have ever seen), I'm just letting a few little things bug me, mostly about the armor that she decided to omit and the comments that she makes about the character. What bugs me in actuality, though, is that I simply cannot understand how you would spend such an ungodly amount of time creating an image character that you know relatively little about. It just seems strange.
