Yeah, only half the cost is tax-deductable. Basically, they know that regular people want to try out the laptops, so they are forcing you to donate one in order to buy one for yourself. I have a feeling they will be more available in the future, but I thought it would be nice to donate one anyway.
If I had the money, I'd gladly donate one. Recieving a laptop would just be a plus, actually -- though I would have tried to get one for myself regardless. I really want to see how it works.
Too bad I'm hurt from Football and it'll be difficult for me to get a part-time job that I'll last in because of it. Damn spondylolysis. Damn back. Damn brace.
