Also allot of Americans come on holiday to Canada becuase they get more for their $ , but as that isnt the case anymore we get less tourists, from one point of veiw its good becuase we have less americans here, but on the flip side we dont get thier cash either

I was not happy with all the winners or the lack of "honorable mention". I'm sure everyone worked really hard on their pieces and spent alot of time. I was expecting to see alot of the much lower resolution sprites to come up on top with those creative enough to add detail that was not there before. That took time, imagination, and creativity. But, all i saw as i looked through the winners are people who literally took sprites that were high def as it was and just enlarged it. I figured that the people who obviously put more effort into their pieces were outdone by those that took the easy way out. The castlevania piece up above is a great example of a low res sprite that actually looks high def, instead of a larger copy of another picture.
Congratulations MiddleFingerRings, on your wonderful entry...
