Hey !!

Some of you guys may already know me, I am the leader of the NG Call of Duty 4 Clan :)
I never ever posted in here before, but I thought that I should come and say hello over here.

If it's alright with you guys, I will add the list of my clan members in here so you guys could add some of our guys to your friend list.

I'm also looking for some partners to play Soul Calibur 4 when it will come out :)

Just out of curiosity, how many chapters does MGS4 have? Is it around 6 or 7?

5, and an epilogue, if I remember right.

So I finally got it, but the gameplay sucks. Every time I try to kill all the PMCs, more guys keep coming out of nowhere and I'm always in alert and I don't know how to get out of it. I keep dying and I can't find any ammo.

I feel ripped off.

I want the Big Boss Octocamo, but it sounds nearly impossible to get. You've got to do the game on Extreme, with no kills, no continues, no alert phases, and in under 5 hours.

Wrong.

You're an idiot.

and I'm always in alert and I don't know how to get out of it.

Try hiding. You know, hiding? What MGS is all about?

I keep dying and I can't find any ammo.

Bullshit, you trip over ammo in that game.

I feel ripped off.

That's your fault.

Hey, guys?

How in God's name do you beat Crying Wolf? I've got her down to about 1/4 health twice.

That's the big boss emblem, you also get a Patriot and a Big Boss iPod song.

You can't use healing items or stealth camo either.

She was the easiest boss by miles! Stay in the bottom right hand corner, you've got cover then from whatever direction she attacks from. Stick on NV on the Solid Eye, and just sit there with a sniper rifle/M4 custom with scope, and wait until she comes into view. Fire at her for a bit, and she'll run away. Don't follow, just wait for her to come into view again. Amuse yourself by killing FROGS while you wait for her.

Oh, I almost forgot, a question of the Yanks who've got DualShock 3. Spoilers in question.

When Psycho Mantis does his bit where he can't read your memory card, because you've not got one, and can't move the controller, because it has no rumble, what happens if you've got the DualShock, since it DOES have rumble?

I can't help but try and find where she is, her howling scares the shit out of me.

Also, I thought the only way to kill her was with explosives?

Right now, she's got around half a fifth less health than me. Let's hope I can keep this up.

I just shot her when she opened up the machine to use the rail gun. Using the M4, you could do a significant amount of damage before she'd go back inside and run away.

There's a different scene from what it says in the guide.

I'll try that when my grenade launcher runs out of ammo.

If it fails, I don't like you.

TheMaster, the whole stay in right corner thing is working.

I have full health and roughly two more shots from the grenade launcher should kill her.

The only problem, however, is a big one.

IT TAKES FOREVER FOR HER TO GET THERE.

Seriously, I must've waited 30 minutes for her to get there for the 3rd time.

For me, Psycho Mantis did successfully move the controller by making it vibrate. At that point, he was like OMG RUMBLE IS BACK!!!! YES!!!!! Not exactly the way he put it, but pretty close. It was epic, I was laughing.

That's like saying Call of Duty 3 is Nazi propaganda just because there are Germans there.

Second play through results

Play time: 6:30:12
continues: 0
Alert phases: 54
kills: 427
recovery items: 5
weapon types: 49
flashbacks watched: 194
no special items

title Hyena: pick up 400 weapons/items or more
Chrocodile: killed more than 400 people
Tarantula: explained in an earlier post.

I also bought that weapon that was really expensive whilst it was half price, the matchlock gun.

Wanted to save up for bandana and stealth but they're like 5 million each.

One of the normals. Can't remember which. I'm just getting some DP together to make the harder difficulties easier. On my 3rd go.

Can you carry over DP onto different difficulties? I thought if you loaded a previous save, so you'd have all your shit, it was always the same difficulty?

You can load it onto different difficulties if you load your game completion save.

Everytime it asked me what difficulty I wanted to go on when I loaded my completed games.

Boo, I started my hard run on another file. Eh, I've only done Act 1, and I'll just start it again. You never used to be able to keep shit like the bandanna on MGS1 if you changed difficulties, so I just assumed you wouldn't be able to here.

I recommend doing one difficulty twice then go up to the next. Plus once you completed a game, save a new game on a new file after loading your previous game.
