Okies... Hey Onizuka... it's okay to RP as a ditz right? (not that it'll um..take much effort xD)... I mean I'm not like..gonna try to be silly ditz...but um... I guess clumsy..ya know? I like being those types of characters ^_^. i basically wanna be like the anime Mihoshi but i don't wanna um...mess anyone's mood up for the RP. Is that okay?

As far as I'm concerned, that would be wonderful. Add a bit of personality to the game. I am pretty sure CHEESEGOD would be fine with it too, but he has the final word.

As long as you don't act like moron when you RP Aasha, then I fully encourage you to role play whichever way you prefer.

Good. I didn't miss the weekly members list. Must keep CHEESEGOD from the number 4 spot. Thanks to Recon for depositing for me. This topic has been falling to the second page a lot lately. Why are most of the regulars not posting much anymore?

Response to RPG club 2004-04-10 19:38:18

it's because there is nothing to talk about. some one should bring up a topic.

I know Recon stopped his game but what happened to Alkador and CHEESEGOD's game? Are the schools on spring break right now?

In april? Spring break was last month. It's easter vacation right now. It's some religious thing. I don't really care though. i just look at it as a long weekend.

I haven't been to school in 16 years and I've never found religion so that's why I was asking.

I'm here, but Random is right, i'm working on my new RPG, coming along quite nicely.

Maybe after I've sent out my email with some new ideas it will spark some conversation...

This is his 11th time by my count. Second only to you, you've won it 16 times. Alkador's won it 5 times, Hellbound 3 times, X once and I've won it 8 times.

You're still number one rebel.

Uh... guess so. I don't suppose it's a good idea to promote people on their immediate entry to the list.

Regarding James' Email

Alright, so most of you have probably checked your email and should know what I'm talking about. I suggest we discuss it here, as it's much more convenient than playing email tag with about 12 different email addresses. So, I'll go over it point for point, and the rest of you may comment accordingly.

Point #1.

Rotation of Member's List responsibilities is something that I have also been thinking of for some time. The question is, how do we work it? James suggested going down the list one by one and each member doing the list in turn. That is one possibility, perhaps in order of rank is another, or maybe just the council members. I'd like everyone to please put in their two cents here, as I agree that one person continously doing the Member's List is a bit of a strain.

Point #2.

Weekly posting games is a great idea, and I have a few ideas of my own I can throw into the mix, as well. Perhaps something a little more RPG related? Maybe someone could illustrate the main plot of an RPG, the year it was released, platform(s) it was released on, etc. and everyone else would have to guess at the RPG. Just expanding a little on that idea. Everyone's opinion would be much embraced here, as well.

Point #3.

I've always wanted a good solid way for members of the club to earn their keep and high standing. Of course, everyone in the club should be highly respected, but some obviously contribute a little more. This was the main premise between my posting rule idea way back when. However, I've come to realize it doesn't always accurately reflect the contributions of a member (I consider myself a prime example). I would have to agree, however, that as stated in the email this would be difficult to pull off. Awarding points is an idea, but what those points could be used for demands more contemplation. I'm thinking of something to show that this member is a very high contributor, without giving them unfair privilages or advantages over fellow members. Again, any feedback here would be appreciated.

Thank you members, and here's to a more interesting, broadened, and prosperous RPG Club.

What are we going to do now since no one is posting their installments? What are we supposed to talk about?

If anyone really needs to answer that, something is terribly wrong.

Nothing. But the answer should be obvious considering the very last post before yours was one asking for lots of input from other members.

Lately I've been playing Brute Force quite a bit. Haven't been playing much in the way of RPGs lately, though. Waiting to get a new computer so I can check out some of the new MMORPGs in the works.

It's a squad-based third person shooter. Quite good in terms of multiplayer capabilities.

ok that explains a lot. I don't play mutliplayer game that often so I'm not that interested. I mostly play one player games because i don't trust anyone else in co-ops.
