For the past few weeks, I've been finally documenting the history of the Flash Portal. It turned out to be quite an undertaking! I don't by any means consider this finished, but it lays down a solid foundation:

I still plan to put together collections for things like Tricky, F-Day and Wade Day, as well as annual group events and the long awaited Star Syndicate collection.
There's history I still need to dig up, such as the first Lock Legion submission. It looks like the first Glock Group submission isn't even on the site anymore. I might not add 2006 until the year is over, but there's a chance I'll make it sooner.
This is your chance to make suggestions! Point out what major events I missed and which talented artists I've overlooked. There are some things in there that probably don't belong... I am trying to point out the starting points of major series and well known artists, as well as submissions that launched trends and fads. Some highlighted submissions are a lot more noteworthy than others, so I might even want to prune the list to make the history more concise.
