holy crap, did you make that with PAINT? it seems to have that pixelated style. if so, then DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN. also, saving as jpegs in paint is a bad idea. you can get a photobucket acct, then link to images to preserve quality. so you know.
jpg gives a good quality for pretty much anything high-detail you wanna make, but remember tht gif is far more superior on a flat image that has no gradient. here's how it goes. gif starts out with a color, and it draws it intil instructed otherwise. that means, if your surface is flat, gif will draw the same colour over and over until it reaches another colour, meaning it will skip like 10-8000 pixels on average. that really reduces the file size. if you plan on using any type of gradient in a picture, then dont save in gif. if anyone agrees, just say so (so i know i've not gotten it wrong myself)
Thanks. It is rather difficult to shade a PAINT drawing but I will try in the future

Yeah its done in paint... Ive been practicing in the paint program for a while. sorry for the crappy jpeg quality. Newgrounds won't accept any pics from paint that are not in jpeg(Hint, hint, Tom), so the picture got warped out of shape...

I'vesaid this elsewhere, but an easy method to make a picture .jpeg without losing any quality is:
- Create new image
- Save blank image with whatever name you want as .***
- Open other image (the one you want converted)
- Copy and paste .bmp into .***
- Hit Save
