I think, if you liked Tom's stuff, you should vote for it. Here's why:
1) If it deserves it, it deserves it...there's no reason his stuff shouldn't be recognized (and if he wants to disqualify himself from the prizes, that's his choice)
2) Other folks were involved in the project (like Johnny_Utah, who'll probably win for tankmen anyway, but that's another story) and they should get the recognition too.
