Yeah, HP makes it. Don't know how long it's supposed to take... Costco says that it takes an estimated 10 days before shipping.

Core 2 Duo! You'll be happy with that, it's an excellent cpu. The lag is probably because intel wasn't real smart about production of the chip, and didn't make enough of them.

For $1300, that's a real solid laptop lineup. I'm sure it won't disappoint :)

Yeah, I returned the Core Duo just for the Core 2 Duo replacement. Yeah, the demand must be crazy. I hope it won't disappoint. Especially after this weight. >.<
