Before anyone points it out - I know I don't have a batting average of over 3.00 (or any flashes submitted for that matter). However, I asked Luis about it and this collab is original enough to have his blessing. Alright, let's get on with it...

Down in the depths of the NG BBS lies the Audio Forum. Legend has it that *shudder* MUSICIANS frequent those parts, talking about things that have nothing to do with Flash whatsoever. Nothing at all! Those smelly barbarians.
But wait! Something stirs in the murkiness! Can it be? Is it...yes! It's the Continue The Song Game! Happiness! Joy! Smiley face! :D

The way it worked is that someone started off with 15 seconds of a song. Someone added on another 15 seconds, then someone ELSE added 15 seconds, and so on and so forth until twelve of us had created three minutes of mish-mashed musical splendor.

That got me thinking - what about if someone made an animation with this? Or better yet, twelve animators each animated a 15 second section, like the musicians did? So here we are. I'll explain how it will work:

- There's room for twelve (12) animators
- Each one will animate one fifteen (15)-second section of this song, written by the following musicians (with the genre they wrote it in):

0:00-0:15 - SolidElectro - Dance intro
0:15-0:30 - Claxor - Accordian Dance...?
0:30-0:45 - G9 - Rock!
0:45-1:00 - Writersblock - Classical
1:00-1:15 - SolusLunes - Clear ambient techno
1:15-1:30 - Rig - Hardcore Drum 'n Bass! Grrr
1:30-1:45 - Father-Of-Death - Acapella beatboxing
1:45-2:00 - Karco - Industrial NiN-ish beats
2:00-2:15 - SBB - Smooth ambient
2:15-2:30 - 2nd-Edition - Glitchy IDM
2:30-2:45 - Envy - HARD DANCE
2:45-3:00 - Whirlguy - Hip-hoppy techno

So basically, you pick a musician and animate something to their section. Pretty straightforward.

Here's the thing, though: this has never been done before in the history of Newgrounds.
This will be the first cross-genre collab - many NG musicians and many NG animators combining their collaborations into one animation. Do you want to be a part of it?

I'll also need someone to compile this thing and/or make a flashy menu. I don't have Flash :P

- Remember: 15 seconds long!
- No porn, please.
- Sprites? Be creative.
- FBF or nothing but tweening, why not.
- No sound effects!
- Put your name in the bottom right corner and the name of the musician you chose in the bottom left corner
- Try to capture the spirit of the song section! :D
- Send your parts to me - musicalrig@gmail.com - in .fla format and I'll forward them to the guy who volunteers to compile this thing :)

And about co-authoring - how many are allowed? I'd like to split it evenly between the best musicians and animator section.

I've been talking about this with BritishMoose and AlmightyHans, but BritishMoose is strangely silent and Hans is working on something else :P
I figured that someone will rise to the occasion. If not, then I'll download the Flash trial and do it myself.

Willobeen you have to understand Rig spear headed this collab as an attempt to get audio artists and flash artists to work together. Since no flash artists took the initiative to come on down to the audio forum he took the first step. If you don't want to work on the collab thats fine.
